Revel Consulting Hires Software as a Service Expert

New Hire to Help Build Revel’s Emerging Practice in Fast-Growing SaaS Space

BELLEVUE, WA - Revel Consulting, a Bellevue, Washington based business and business management consulting firm, announced today the appointment of Mr. Arif Samad as Senior Associate. A veteran consultant with more than 10 years experience in designing and implementing IT-based business solutions, Samad will lead Revel’s solutions integration efforts as part of the firm’s emerging Software as a Service (SaaS) practice.

“Bringing Arif onboard is a key step for our continued expansion in the Software as a Service arena,” said Vikas Kamran, Revel’s Co-Founder. “He brings critical industry experience and an entrepreneurial spirit that are paramount to Revel’s approach to consulting. Arif will help our clients take the important steps towards hosted solutions while integrating with their current data systems.”

SaaS, software deployment in which applications are hosted off-premise, is a rapidly expanding industry and according to experts including a Social Issues Research Centre report, by 2020 it will be the “norm” by which businesses access software. As more and more traditional software companies prepare for this eventuality, they are turning to Revel, which has a specialty focus in SaaS, having completed complex integration and management projects for Fortune 500 technology companies.

Previously, Samad spent more than six years with Accenture’s Washington D.C. office, implementing enterprise wide technology solutions, delivering tangible business results. Samad led Accenture’s successful implementation of a drastic overhaul to core business platforms in the Internal Revenue Service's Customer Communications Branch (CCB) division. Samad graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
